description:
What henna is, what it isn't. Where did it come from, who uses it and why (cultural sensitivity). How to make your own henna paste and troubleshooting. Most commonly used techniques and elements. Learn the building blocks of most henna designs. Technique will use the most time. Individual guidance.
Suitable for: bare beginners through to early intermediate.

Class 2
description:
Building your own henna style designs. Skills for improvisation, symmetry and flow. Recognizing major regional styles and techniques specific to these styles. Breaking down complex designs. Shading techniques.
Suitable for: beginners through to intermediate. Participants must have done class 1 or have basic henna skills.

If you've had a dabble, or have been doing henna for a little while but feel you're not getting anywhere, then class 1 will help to fill in those gaps. It's not only for bare beginners.
